This idea for Honda, executed as a magazine ad, television commercial and dealership poster, won in every award show contest in which it was ever entered. But best of all were all the hours of enjoyment it gave readers while they decoded the license plates.

With a little help from Jack Lemmon, this radio spot let people know that eight out of every ten Honda Accords were being built right here in America.

Not only was it voted one of the 25 best radio commercials of the year, but also it helped Honda sell more Accords than ever.
